Here’s the Late November Training Diary at Egerton’s Garage Gym. Just a short training diary update today, since I only uploaded to the training diary a few days ago…
I just wanted to update on my bruised rib today.
It has felt a little worse than I had hoped for, and so there has been no running at all. In addition to that there has been no prone rows, no hip thrusts and no hack squats. Most other exercises seem to be fine to do – although performance has been affected a little in most exercises.
The good news is I can feel it getting better each day. Running should be back on the menu in the next day or so. I expect to be back doing hip thrusts and hack squats again very soon. I suspect prone rows will still have to wait a while before being re-introduced, but that is fine.

Also in good news…. my new kit from Watson Gym Equipment is due to arrive today! Watson are the best of the best at what they do. All the equipment they produce is genuinely world class – in fact, unbeatable in quality. Today I will be receiving from Watson: a hamstring curl machine, a lat pull down machine and a Reverse hyper extension bench. Once it is all in place and set up, I will write an update on the gym in the Egerton’s Garage Gym blog.
This arrival of Watson kit has been timed very well in consideration of my bruised rib as well – as the lat pull down machine will provide additional training options in place of the prone rows. Also, while I am still avoiding Hip Thrusts and Hack Squats, the hamstring curl machine and reverse hyper extension bench will provide additional lower body training options.
Anyway, like I say, only a couple of days training to report on, since it is not long since I last updated the training diary. Nonetheless, here is what I have done in the last couple of days…
November Training Diary
Wednesday 24th November Morning Session – Chin Ups for 10 sets of 6 reps; mini band side walks for 5 sets of 90 seconds work with 30 seconds rest; single leg cold raises for 5 sets of 20 reps on each leg; mini band hip flexion exercise for 5 sets of 20 reps on each leg Thursday 25th November Morning Session – Narrow Grip Bench Press for 10 sets at 100Kg (7, 6, 5, 5, 5, 4, 4, 4, 4, 4 reps); Normal Grip Bench Press for 10 sets of 3 reps at 110Kg; Dumbbell Side Raises for 10 sets of 20 reps with 8Kg Dumbbells No doubt the next update will not come round quite as quickly as this one has. However, I will endeavour to do better than I have been doing recently, and update the training diary within a reasonable time frame after this late November training diary. In the mean time, as mentioned above, the next update will probably be on the Egerton’s Garage Gym blog page – since I will be wanting to share how the gym is looking once all the Watson Gym Equipment is fully installed and in place. Until next time! Stay strong, Tim Egerton The EGG Egerton’s Garage Gym Foxwood Personal Training Foxwood, York |
