Research Methods Tutorials for Sport and Exercise Science

As part of a previous Sport and Exercise Science venture of mine, I made a series of Youtube Research Methods Tutorials for Sport and Exercise Science. It is a reasonably comprehensive resource on Research Methods for Sports Science students and Sports Science professionals. As such, in the hope that it can continue to help many people, I have decided to place all the videos together in one location. So, below you can hopefully find what you need to navigate your way through the world of Research Methods for Sport and Exercise Science.

I have also created additional resource pages on different topics that are useful to Sport and Exercise Science students and graduates. Here are the links to these resource pages:

Foxwood Personal Training

These research methods tutorials were created during a previous venture of mine It is unlikely that I will be creating more of these in the future, as my focus is now firmly on Foxwood Personal Training. With that being said, if you have found them useful I would still love to hear from you. If you wish to get in touch, there are a couple of ways in which you can do so.

1) Get in touch via DM on the Foxwood Personal Training Instagram page

2) Get in touch via the enquiry form on the homepage of this website

Egerton's Garage Gym

Egerton's Garage Gym

As just mentioned, my current focus is entirely on Foxwood Personal Training.

Foxwood Personal Training has three primary service offerings:

1) Personal Training in York

2) Sports Massage in York

3) Online Running Coaching

The York Personal Training service and the York Sports Massage service both take place out of Egerton’s Garage Gym. The online running coaching service is delivered remotely. This means, for running coaching, you can be based anywhere in the world. There are two main requirements for you to receive running coaching from Tim. Firstly, you must have an internet connection. We use TrainingPeaks software to deliver our running coaching. So without access to an internet connection, this isn’t going to work. Secondly, you must have serious ambition. I am looking to coach individuals who prioritise their running. If that is not you, then fair enough. However, it will mean that unfortunately, I am not the coach for you.

Coaching for Ambitious Runners

Of course, there is absolutely nothing wrong with not making running your number one priority in life. For most runners, it is inevitable that work and family committments must come first. The great news for you is that most running coaches specialise in helping busy people juggle their running alongside other commitments. However, my own background is more towards the elite end of the sport. That’s where I feel I can offer most value. As such, I am only looking to coach runners who are in a position where they can prioritise their running above all else. That’s not to say they don’t have others interests and obligations. Of course they do. That still needs to taken into consideration. But for the most part, running will take precedence.

So, having said my piece, if it still sounds like I am the coach for you, please get in touch!
